Always a smile for mom.

33rd Wedding Anniversary

God has blessed us with 33 wonderful years together.

On that special day our whole family drove down to Wales to explore a 200 year old Aqueduct. When we stopped for a picnic lunch, Craig and Claire gave us our gift - 3 heather plants for our garden!

Omma coming along with Selah.
When we were on the other side a boat came down the canal.

Walking further down along the canal.
Were they waiting for the rest of us?
Great day for the cousins!
On the way home we stopped for Bengali food - yummy, yummy, yummy!! It was WONDERFUL to be able to celebrate our special day with our whole family.

Early Christmas

It is becoming our family tradition to make our own date to celebrate Christmas.
We knew we would be far apart in December, so we took the opportunity to celebrate early while we were together.
'Twas the night before Christmas...
Christmas morning - Noah opening gifts from his Christmas Stocking.
Ellie and Rebekah with Mom.
Omma's Living Doll, Rebekah.
Abbi helping Selah unwrap her gift.
Filipino treat.
Exciting moments!
Now it is Abbi's turn to see what Ryan & Craig gave him.

We forgot to do our Christmas Crackers that night, so went ahead with it the next night during our late dinner together after the kids had gone to bed.

Hard Workers

Ryan was not at our home very long before he went to work in our back yard.
Two little helpers working in the vegetable garden. Trying to find the flowers amongst the weeds.
When Craig arrived they tackled an inside job - installing new pull down attic stairs.
Then putting in insulation,
and flooring in the attic.

Down at Criag's house - continuing with projects around the house.

Time with Family

We felt so blessed to be together as a family for the past couple of weeks.
Ryan, Kara, Noah and Selah crossed the pond and we immensely enjoyed having them in our home once again.
Craig, Claire, Ellie and Rebekah joined us a few days later. It was lots of fun watching the 4 cousins interact with each other.
One day Ragnar and I took all four of them over to the duck pond.
Noah especially enjoyed feeding the ducks lots of bread.

Taking Noah and Selah out to McDonalds while Mom and Dad had a date in our closest town.
One face ended up being blue, while the other one was green.
We were able to spend a couple of hours at Rand Farm - Noah enjoying the animals.
Riding the tractors around.
Then for a ride on a big tractor.

It was so much fun seeing Selah enjoy the BIG slide!!
I think she was as brave as her daddy.
Let's do that again Dad!
Another day we had fun at a children's playground.

Lots of fun things to play on and new things to try.
