PFO Related

After spending lots of time helping them thru the application process and a long week-end together during PFO, we love it when we see the Associates on their way to the field.  It is also exciting receiving their emails from around the globe, hearing of their adventures.  Then when it is time for them to come back to GB, we love to have them in our home, listening to them share of their various experiences.
Raymond and Odessa Dunwoody

- gone thru the long application process
- taken a few years break from their jobs
- said their sad good-byes to family and friends
- served a couple of years in PNG in different ministries
- come back for a few months before continuing on in a new ministry on a different island
- spent an evening with us, filling us in on being an Associate in PNG

MARTIN REUNION
Stephen and Helen Martin had finished the Missions Course and were in the middle of getting ready to go to Asia.  Since Helen's dad was coming over from N.I. to attend the most recent PFO, the Martins joined him.  On their first night back, we invited all the 2nd and 3rd year students over for a 'reunion' with Steve & Helen, and their 2 sweet kids, Isaac and Ellie.
Their former neighbor having fun with Isaac and Ellie in our back yard.
PFO
Our most recent Pre Field Orientation week-end included several on their way to PNG and Brazil. One evening was set aside to show them in Drama some things to expect when they reach their destination -
- the only part of your suitcase to arrive is its handle

- as you are visiting in a tribal village with your missionary friend, you encounter a man playing his musical instrument - he asks how many cows your father would want for you

 - seeing who can score the highest on a quiz of capitals, languages and flags
