Seeing we hadn't been to Nova Scotia since we moved to England, we were really looking forward to some time on Canada's East Coast. Our first few days back in good old Nova Scotia were wonderful!!
Even though it was a little after midnight when we arrived at the Halifax airport, Daryl and Tammy Levy were waiting for us there with open arms.
We enjoyed a nice catch up chat during the 2 drive to their cozy home right by the ocean.
What we saw when we stepped out their front door!
We loved sitting down to eat rabbit pie or fresh halibut steak with the beautiful view of the ocean in front of us.
The next few days were filled with fun activities that would never happen in the city. Daryl building lobster traps in their basement.

A yummy dish that reminded me of my childhood -
salt cod with pork, onions, carrots and potatoes. 
Many long discussions about various Biblical topics was also a high light of our time there.
Our reentry to 'Bluenose Land' couldn't have been better - thanks to Daryl, Tammy and their 3 top notch kids!!
