Yearly Conference at North Cotes

There is a Conference held here each year in June. People come in from all over Great Britian, and many other countries in Eurpoe. Ragnar went down to London to pick up a group coming in from Norway. We knew 3 of the 16, so enjoyed fellowship with them, and enjoyed getting to know many other people. The gymnasium, where the meetings are held, was packed out again this year.

One of the speakers who worked in Bolivia for a few years showed us how one of the tribal groups dress. Since the meeting room was filled to capacity,
many people were standing in the foyer.
We enjoyed many lovely numbers by the choir.

Then Ragnar interviewed one of our former associates from the Philippines.

Coffee and snacks were served a couple

of times a day - people on their way to the coffee house.

We had a display in the coffee house with information about our work and were encouraged by the number of people who dropped by, showing an interest in lots of different areas we are involved in.

Accomdations on the campus were full.

Most staff had a few people staying with them too.

Others brought their own tents.

We enjoyed having two families with us. One couple was from Northhumberland, and the other family, with 2 small kids, from Wales. It was a joy for us to get to know them, and have them share Ragnar's birthday breakfast with us.
The 6 year old boy sang Happy Birthday to Ragnar in Welch - so cute!!
