We love our B&B in Birmingham where the 'Welcome Mat' is always out!! When we parted ways with the students after the medical Missions Day, they made their way back north to the school and we went south to Birmingham. On Monday we would be flying to the Faroes from that city, so it would just be backtracking to go home that night.
Besides, we were excited to have some time with those 3 little girls we keep talking about. That Sunday 'just happened' to be the day Craig and Claire were interviewed by their home church about the work they are involved in, so we were blessed to be there for that also.
After our week in the Faroes and one night in Denmark, we flew back into Birmingham. Ellie and Bekah surprised us at the airport - what a sweet welcome back.
The following morning I was able to go with Claire when she took Bekka to her Nursery School - my 1st time for that, so it was fun to see her in those surroundings, where she has fit in so well. After spending the rest of the morning down town with Claire, including walking through the German market, Craig once again dropped us off at the airport. This time it was for a week of meetings in Spain. I'm sure he must have felt like he could go there and back with his eyes closed, when he picked us up again a week later.
Learning that the following day was a 'no school' day for the girls brought smiles to our faces. Time for some games and making a gingerbread house with our bundle of joy, living doll and little sunshine while mom did a few errands before we go home to unpack.
At least we knew that unpacking would not require the concentration that packing did. I had 3 suitcases to pack for 3 differnt destinations before we had left home. Faroe Islands - warm clothes and dress up for the wedding
Spain - cool clothes suitable for meetings
Birmingham - cusual clothes for inbetween
Our Birmingham B& B, taxi service and car park sure helped those trips go smoothly.
Making a gingerbread house with Omma.
Finished project!

Oh my goodness, C & C have gorgeous little girls! So special that you can live within driving distance to them, and that they are so hospitable and welcoming for their globe-trotting parents/in-laws! Thinking much of you these days while you are off snuggling with your other beautiful grand-babies across the ocean! Love ya!
