Back to a normal week in North Cotes - fellowship group - HQ Prayer Meeting - various groups and families brightening up our home - church services - office work etc.!!
On our way home from the Faroe Islands, while we were waiting for our train in Manchester, one of the leaders in Italy, came walking up to the same train! Lots of time for catch up on the 3 hour trip to North Cotes.
One of Ragnar's responsibilities these past 5 years was to chair the meetings of the Advisory Board. Men from various European countries meet twice a year here in North Cotes to discuss various topics concerning the Training Center.
The following day the Advisory Board meetings began and although he has recently passed that responsibility on to someone else, that evening the men cam over to our home for old times sake! The evening before they left they came back over to watch an important soccer game. Fun to fellowship with them one more time. The best of both worlds - not needing to sit in on meetings all day long, but enjoy the fellowship with them in the evenings!!
Ragnar's Birthday
At our coffee break in the morning, 80 of us sang 'Happy Birthday' to the birthday boy!
Two couples from our church in Louth joined us for grilled salmon that night. Then an eve of sharing inspiring stories. We loved hearing of the journey the Lord has had them on.
The following evening the Volunteers threw a surprise party for him in their apartment. He had not suspected anything. So sweet of them. A fun evening with lots of people coming and going.
Monday morning found him sharing from the Word with our students as their day of prayer began. So good to see him being able to do these things again!!
