Ellie's First Day of School

It is soooo hard for us to believe that we have a granddaughter going to school!! However since we were so blessed to be there with her for that first day, and have pictures of her in her uniform, I guess it really is more than just a dream. On our way to Birmingham, we had the pleasure of having a short visit with a fellow Nova Scotian, Katie Nielsen, who was touring the UK. We wish our time together could have been longer, but still it was great to catch up with her and hear the news about lots of our friends in our home church. It brought back memories of her visit to the Philippines.
Our journey took us on to Birmingham, where we had a couple of great days with 3 FANTASTIC girls.
Lydia, our little sunshine, is growing by leaps and bounds.
Ellie showing us her somersault tricks in their back yard.
I think it was our first time to see Bekah on the scooter.
I enjoyed lots of fun with the girls,
while Ragnar helped Craig with a project in their shed.
A great break away from the computer.
The next day was Ellie's first day of school!!
Doesn't she look so sweet in her school uniform?
Finishing up her cereal before the show is on the road.
Look alikes!! Mom ready to drive Ellie to her first day of school! And one more hug for Omma before she is off.

Your little girls are sooooo precious!!!! I'm so glad you can at least have half of your grandbabies nearby! :-)
