M is for Museums

 Blasastova
I really enjoyed this museum showing an old farmhouse which provides insight into Faroese life in past centuries   Like all countries things have changed over the years so I find it very interesting seeing how they used to do things, realizing how spoiled we are today.

Kirkjubour

It may be the oldest wooden house in Europe still to be inhabited.  The family living in and running the farm, which is the largest farm in the Faroes, is the 16th generation of his family on the farm.  Covered with a turf roof, it is a large split log building made of timber which is said to have come drifting all the way from Norway some 700 years ago.

There are many more museums, but so far these are the only 2 that I have visited.
